Nothing says swank quite like this Balboa Island upper level beach house! Recently renovated and professionally decorated, this beautiful open concept home will become your new favorite hideaway.
The orange front door is a big clue that what you’ll find inside is truly special. As you enter, you are greeted by a warm and inviting living room equipped with a smart TV and gas fireplace, perfect for a movie in on a cool night. Multiple seating options make this living room versatile for entertaining a large family, or cozy enough for a romantic weekend away. There is also direct access to the spacious balcony with a gas BBQ and outdoor seating to enjoy the afternoon sea breeze. This property’s prime location overlooks Marine Avenue shops and restaurants, where you are just a short distance away from anywhere you’ll need to go.
The newly remodeled gourmet kitchen is an absolute chef’s dream. It includes modern and sleek custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, a gas oven and range, microwave, dishwasher and all the tools you’ll need to prepare a fabulous meal. Every detail down to the backsplash and cabinet hardware was given great attention during design. The peninsula countertop includes bar seating for four, in addition to table seating (the table has an expandable leaf) for up to six .
Down the hallway, you’ll find access to all four bedrooms and two full bathrooms, all outfitted with premium linens. The master suite at the end of the hallway is beautifully decorated in shades of blue and white, and washed with ample natural light during the daytime. The double closets provide ample space to get cozy and stay for a while. The en-suite master bathroom features high end fixtures and custom tile work, floating vanity, a large standup shower with bench and frameless glass doors.
The second and third bedrooms off of the hallway are outfitted with queen sized beds, each decorated in shades of blue and white with colorful accents. The fourth bedroom sleeps two in twin beds, and has a charming beach theme in hues of blue and teal. Each room has custom closet organizers to store ample belongings for the duration of your stay.
The hallway bathroom features a shower and tub combo with sliding glass doors, floating double vanity, custom tilework and high-end fixtures as featured throughout the rest of the house.
This home also has a full-sized laundry closet with stackable washer and dryer, with laundry detergent available for your use and convenience. To make your time in the fun and sun more enjoyable, the owners have also included beach chairs, beach umbrellas and boogie boards so you can play on the sand all day at the beach. This unit also includes carport parking for one car.
Step out the front door onto Marine Avenue, which takes you to all of the quaint shops and restaurants the Island has to offer. Enjoy breakfast at Wilma’s Patio, shop for wonderful groceries and prepared food at Irvine Ranch Farmer’s Market (right across the street), or sip on cocktails at the Village Inn (known as “VI” by locals).

The experience was great, as always. We always stay at this house and we always love it because of its proximity to town and to the boardwalk. The only problem this time around was that there were ants in the kitchen. I’m not gonna fault them too much because we even get some ants at home that we needed to exterminator for, other than that, it was wonderful. When we called to tell them about the ants, they came right out with Raey and traps. Unfortunately, we couldn’t really use either cause we have two crawling babies.

This Airbnb is extremely functional, clean and comfortable. It is in a perfect location if you have events happening on Bellville Island. We were there for my son‘s wedding and it worked out perfectly for us. Lots of space and the washer and dryer made it even better. Nice size kitchen with standard size refrigerator. Would stay there again, one block from the beautiful views of the harbor.

We came here to work remotely and visit the area. It was perfect. There was a town and a wonderful harbor walk right outside. We explored all the towns up and down coastal highway which were very accessible. Great hiking and great restaurants. The hosts were incredibly responsive with small questions. Property was perfectly maintained. no complaints. Recommend highly and without reservation.

The property looked like it was recently remodeled, roomy and comfortable, but the location, although close to restaurants and shopping, was extremely noisy....trash trucks starting first thing in the morning...one day we had to listen to a jackhammer as they were repairing the street...suggestion: grab bars in both showers...stairs are a deterrent to seniors...

We spent a week in this rental and were very satisfied with the unit. Clean, well appointed, spacious. We were four adults and the apartment could easily accommodate six. We enjoyed hanging out in the living room/kitchen area and, in the mornings, on the front porch. The location cannot be beat--you are steps from the center of the commercial hub; though the street was never too busy or loud. Parking was easy and the management company that oversees the unit was very responsive when we posed a query or two. I will say that this might not be the best spot during a heat wave as there is no air-conditioning; but we had cool evenings so never an issue. A completely worry-free stay.

This is a beautiful and perfect location condo. It is right by all the great shops, a couple of blocks to the walk by the bay. I would recommend this place to anyone considering visiting Balboa. The only remark other than perfect is that we were told that between 10pm and 8am everything was quiet. We are quiet people anyway so no problem but the town is not. The street cleaners, the garbage trucks, fire department personnel, the remodeling going on all around and delivery trucks for everyone starts very early in the morning. Since there is not air conditioning (which you do not need) you have the windows open which brings in all the noise. Even so, I would highly recommend this property to anyone that did not have any disabilities. It was wonderful!

The best part about this home is LOCATION LOCATION..LOCATION!! The neighborhood was incredible. The entire family enjoyed walks around the bay and visiting all the local shops. The home was beautiful, just as it appears in the pictures. Was exactly what we were looking for.
Only a few complaints. One being that the freezer was out. I know things happen, but it made life a little harder finding ice at local stores daily to make drinks. There is also just not enough towels for a full week with a house full, unless you like using the same towel every day for 7 days. We also had to purchase addition paper towels. There was one roll and no extra trash bags. We also don't mind having the owner beneath us, but not using our own balcony until 10am because of rules, stinks. Lastly we noticed he was moving our trash around in the bins outside. Little strange that he'd go through the trash.
Past that, I'd say it was a great stay, beautiful home and would suggest it to others for the location.

Was a little nervous at first because it was non refundable and there were so many rules. Ended up being a great trip. Notes: we thought we had the whole unit but someone lives downstairs. There’s no AC. Be very careful backing into the parking garage, we shattered the back window of our rental van because the upper cabinet in the garage didn’t show in the reverse camera. Super bummer because we only got the rental car to store our items until the house was ready for us at 3pm. (They won’t let you store your luggage if your flight gets in early).

We had a great stay at this seaside home. My family came in for a wedding in Huntington Beach and enjoyed having this place to relax at between festivities. Loved the people-watching from the balcony as it was a holiday weekend and the close proximity to the Market and restaurants. The house was clean and well-equipped.

This was one of the best rental properties we have stayed at. We stayed here for a month and we were extremely impressed the whole time.
The location is great - on the main strip of Balboa Island with lots of places to eat and drink. It is about a 15 minute walk to the ferry if you want to go over to Balboa Peninsula. The condo has everything one would need and was extremely clean - great decor & chic.
We absolutely loved this rental and would 100% recommend it.

What a wonderful place! Very well decorated, nice layout and comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen and super clean! Location is excellent, Easy access to bay front, shops and restaurants. Miriam was always quick to respond and check in was easy and efficient. Will definitely book again!

The swanky house is located in a perfect spot for a family vacation. Right next to the market, restaurants and shops. Arrived to a spotless house. The team managing this property was flawless and very responsive. The home was perfect for a family of 5 adults.

I can’t not thank you enough for the amazing stay, we traveled for work and this was home was marvelous, very clean and the beds were just so comfortable. Location was amazing, quiet area but still with lots to do around. Communication was quick and I can’t thank you enough for that. On top of everything, the decor is wow! I took ideas for my own home.
